- Thebaseballpage.com – What is this website all about, and why did u build it?
This is what makes the site unique, we will deliver to you all the content your interested in toTop Web Picks you. It will be delivered to your user stream as well as your email once a day. The site has over 4,000 biographies, full team histories, player rankings, season recaps, league recaps, stats 300,000+ images, 500 videos and these are all growing lists. My overall goal is to have a complete story of every game, every season, every player, every part of baseball, full with images, video, stories and stats. Because stats are only part of the story. We have recently Networked over 50 blogs, so content is really coming in quickly and there are some great stories.
- How many people were involved with its creation and who keeps it operating day to day? TH: Three different development companies, over 50 contributors, authors, writers, image and video companies. We have a small team of 4 full time employees and our contributor network we are hoping to expand to 11+ by the turn of the year.
- How long did it take to build the site? TH: 3 years and counting.
- How and where do you find all this great baseball trivia and miscellaneous information? What are some of your resources? TH: My partner calls me the ultimate aggregator of content, I go out and find it. Some people want to be part of it, some don’t, but it never hurts to ask. I had several people ignore me about images, then one guy gave us 250,000, he is a baseball photographer. Then we hit it again with another guy for 50,000 and now several more are interested. We have hit gold with authors who made huge contributions as well, and others who said no thanks. What it comes down to is continuing to ask, reach out and even if a small percentage say yes, the gain could be enormous.
- Who would enjoy this site? TH: Anyone who enjoys baseball on any level. You can contribute, be social with friends, and get rewarded for your activity. If your researching something you can find it here and unlike the other baseball sites actually discuss it with other fans of the subject right there. We also have unique biographies of thousands of players, negro leagues, and many other people of the game.

Golden Stick pitchers throw some unreal pitches that defy the laws of physics. Even more impressive are the players who can hit those nasty drops and curves.

It takes a certain type of ball to throw a good drop-cure. You see how my Screwball wasn't very sharp in this video? Its because I decided to use a ball that was smoother and had less ridges on the top. That way my Slider, Riser and Drop-Curve were much sharper.
Why? Because Aigler knows my Drop and Screwball VERY well.
